Author
Founder of Great White Security, a WA Police licensed security agent based in Perth. Ricky runs the business day to day, scopes the commercial projects, and writes the guides on this site from the jobs the team actually does.
Most of what is written about security online is either a manufacturer's brochure or a blog written to rank. These guides are written from the other side of the counter: what a Perth business asks when it calls, what the installer finds when the cabinet is opened, what the Surveillance Devices Act actually requires, and what the state and local rebates will and won't pay for.
Every figure, deadline or legal point comes with its source linked. Where a page recommends a brand, it is one the team installs and services; where it describes a fault, it is one the team has fixed. Pricing is deliberately left off; it depends on the site, and a quote is the honest way to answer it.
