For FM companies and in-house facilities teams

CCTV for Facility Managers Perth

CCTV for facility managers Perth: one licensed contractor for the cameras, alarms and access control across the buildings you look after, who works inside the inductions and approvals a facilities team is measured on. We work for FM companies, building managers and in-house facilities teams at offices, health sites, education, government buildings and industrial premises across Perth.

One specification across every site

A facilities portfolio usually inherits a different camera system at every building: whatever the last tenant, builder or contractor left behind. The cost shows up later, when nobody can pull footage from site three, the recorder at site five has been overwriting after four days, and each system needs a different app and a different password.

We start with an audit of what is on each site, then write a single specification: camera coverage standards for entries, car parks, loading docks and plant rooms; a retention period; a naming convention for cameras and recorders; and who holds the admin credentials. New work is built to the spec; existing systems are brought to it as budgets allow. Brands are chosen per site for the job, and where a client's procurement rules exclude certain manufacturers we specify NDAA compliant equipment.

Documentation that stays with the building

Every system is handed over with its login details and a walk-through of how to use it. If your portfolio needs more than that, such as camera schedules, install records for an asset register or CMMS, or compliance paperwork before site work, tell us what you need and we will scope and quote it with the job.

We work inside your process: inductions, building-owner approvals where the landlord requires them, and after-hours or escorted access where the site demands it. Our technicians hold WA Police security licences.

Maintenance agreements and fault calls

Cameras fail quietly. A lens fogs, a drive dies, a recorder drifts an hour off true time, and nobody notices until an incident needs footage that is not there. A commercial maintenance agreement schedules the checks: every camera walk-tested, storage and retention confirmed, time synchronised, firmware updated, signage and Cam-Map registration kept current. Per-visit reporting can be included in the agreement if you need it.

Between visits, fault calls go to a technician who already knows the site. Incident footage requests are handled the same way, exported with correct timestamps and provided to the person you nominate.

Alarms, access and monitoring on the same contract

CCTV is rarely the only system a facilities team is responsible for. We install and service commercial alarm panels, access control on platforms such as Gallagher, Inner Range and Tecom, and intercoms, and connect them to Grade A1 back-to-base monitoring with open/close and duress reporting. One contract, one point of contact across the portfolio. For tendered work, licence and insurance details are available as part of a tender response.

Questions we get asked

Can you take over the CCTV at buildings where another contractor installed it?

Yes. Most portfolio work begins with systems we did not install. We audit each site, recover or reset administrator access through the manufacturer process, record what is there, and bring each system onto your specification over time. Nothing is ripped out that still does its job; the goal is one standard and one record, not one brand.

Do you provide the documentation our principal asks for before site work?

Tell us what your principal requires and we will confirm what we can supply and whether it carries a cost. WA Police security licence details are available, we complete site inductions, and we follow landlord and building-owner approval steps where the site requires them. Handover documentation beyond login details and a walk-through is scoped and quoted with the job.

How quickly can incident footage be provided?

Footage requests are handled by a technician who already knows the site and its system, which is the main thing that makes them straightforward. We confirm the camera, time window and the person authorised to receive it, export with correct timestamps, and provide it in a standard format. Retention is checked on every maintenance visit so the footage is there to export.

Can one maintenance agreement cover CCTV, alarms and access control across several sites?

Yes. A portfolio agreement lists each site and the systems at it, sets the visit schedule, and includes alarm, access control and intercom servicing alongside the cameras. Per-visit reporting can be included in the agreement if you need it, and fault calls between visits go to a technician who knows the site.

What does CCTV for a facilities portfolio cost?

It depends on the number of sites, what is already installed and in what condition, the coverage and retention standard you set, and whether maintenance and monitoring are included. Send us the site list and any existing documentation, and we will propose an audit and a specification from which each site can be quoted.

Send us the site list

How many buildings, what is installed at each if you know it, and what your principal or client expects from you on security. We will propose an audit and a single specification, then quote each site from there.
