Common Paradox Alarm Issues
Trouble Beeping
Press the Trouble key on your Paradox keypad to view the active fault list. Common troubles are AC power loss, low battery, zone tamper, or comms failure.
Wireless Sensor Not Reporting
Paradox MG-series wireless sensors have their own batteries. A sensor that stops reporting usually has a flat CR123A or similar battery — check the zone fault on your keypad.
Alarm Triggering at Night
Unexpected trips are usually caused by a faulty motion detector, a loose door/window sensor, or a pet crossing a PIR zone. We can diagnose and reconfigure zones to eliminate false trips.
Lost Installer Code
Without the installer code you cannot change zones, entry delays or monitoring settings. Our technicians can reset Paradox installer codes and reconfigure your system.
